So, I have a lot of work to do right now.
So does my roomie.

Once I got off work, we went to Chevron to get some caffeinated beverages and pull a very productive all-nighter.

The thing is....we're both really, REALLY good at staying up late.
But we're not so good at being motivated to do work.

Obviously we need someone else in our study group who makes us feel bad for doing nothing but eating and drinking Dr. Pepper and Coke and looking up things online that we really don't need to but we do anyway because we're such awesome procrastinators like that.
[Eliza, where are youuuuu??? :P ]

On a side note, my blog post editor is freaking out on me right now. Annoying. Please, cursor, do what I tell you!

And also, I am freezing right now.
I'm pretty sure it's only 60 degrees outside.
And I'm also pretty sure it's snowed in Cali with the fam-jam within the last week, and that it's currently cold enough to snow there now.
Therefore, I'm pretty sure I will die a very cold and numb death when I go home for Christmas.

But I'm also more than pretty sure it will be worth it :D
[ELEVEN DAYS!]

Okay, so I lied.

So I went to the mail room today to pick up a package [thanks, Dad!]

And the guy at the mail counter [who I know and have had a class with before] asks me, "So, when's your presentation??"
It kind of caught me off-guard, because I didn't remember having a class with him this semester, but I do have a presentation coming up this week.

So I told him: "Thursday morning, the first group to present."
Guy: "Oh cool, I'm going Thursday too. Are you ready yet?"
[at this point I realized he was DEFINITELY not in my class. It's a small class, and he's a memorable person.]
Me: "Haha, nope."
Guy: "Yeah, me neither. I've still gotta get my stuff together..."
Me: "It'll all work out though!"
Guy: "Yeah, I hope so! [He hands me the parcel, I sign for it, then turn to leave] Well, I'll see you tomorrow!"
Me: "See ya!"

.......I thought about mentioning the fact that I definitely didn't have a class with him and that we were discussing completely different presentations.
And saying that I probably wouldn't see him tomorrow because we don't have any of the same classes.

But that'd be awkward.

So I just pretended he was right, fibbed, and avoided the awkwardness.
It made me laugh :]

But now I have a question....does that situation really count as lying? I mean, really?? I think I count it as being Christlike and charitable and helping the guy save face. :P
Anyway, I guess if it does count, we all know where I'm headed! Hahaha :]

HAHAHA, funny realization:
I was only officially engaged for 3 weeks, and now I've been un-engaged for 3 weeks! What an insane month-and-a-half. It feels both longer and shorter in some respects...time is a funny, fickle thing.

But life is all good again, and I'm definitely grateful for that!
:]

Now, time to get cracking on all of these end-of-the-semester projects and tests to study for and all of that lovely junk! Sixteen days til I'm home for Christmas!
